Wrong time of year m8 to try this. Damp cold weather will causing "orange peel" effect and general shit finish. If you really care about how your car looks and don't want to waste your money, get it done professionally - there are no short cuts to a good paint job.

Hehem,

You will need about three litres of paint somwhere clean (spotless!) warm and some kind of extraction so that will be a spray booth then wont it!
You will also need an airfed mask (or you will die not now but in years to come) and from the sound of it a small bit if help from the good man above 'cause you aint got a chance m8! Save yourself a head ache and pay some one who knows what they are doing 'cause you don't....sorry and all that!

As for damp cold weather causing "orange peel" effect. Well it dosn't does it? If you used cellulose paint you will get "blooming" (water trapped in the paint). Orange peel is caused by the very act of spraying and is different for every paint sprayer and for that matter panel to panel so there.
