engine gearbox wiring loom ignition barrel key and transducer

use the 1.2 engine mounts can use the 1.2 shafts just depends on how far you want to go could stitch weld the engine bay for strength whilst engine is out or just put it in and if the nova is a 4 speed youl need to mod the linkage so you can get 5th

Is the wiring gonna be a problem because the nova is a carb model.

think you need the single v pullies off an 8v not sure though

standard fly will be fine

you will need an injection fuel tank either multi point injection with an external fuel pump or an spi tank with the sorsa fuel pump put in it

wiring should be fine think its 4 wires from memory sure adam or southie will be able to give you a full answer as they have both done the same conversion

a nova exhauts with the corsa manifold might need to modify it a bit to fit though

Is there any nova exhausts that fit straight onto the corsa manifold?

The GTE/SRi/GSi twin downpipe does mate to the manifold but it points upwards at the floor pan where it is supposed to join the cat/centre section. If you heat the bends you could possibly bend it to the right place.

The Corsa downpipe has the opposite flange for the centre so won't mate to a Nova system.

A c16xe downpipe does mate up to a nova gte/gsi system but as said the flange is a different fitment.
You can bodge it though with a metal ring gasket and some exhaust paste...

Mine was fine like that for months and didnt blow at all

Fair play. I've had enough problems with the spring bolts over the years coming loose so doubt that would've worked on mine, that's even with the downpipe bolted to the floor (the cat support bracket).

On the way in to PV a few years ago I heard something metal bounce under the car and then saw something smack the front of the clio behind...ooops Yep one of the bolts had come out.

I had similar problems so i put nyloc nuts on the bolts.... ;)

I used Corsa manifold with decat pipe then cut and welded it to suit my nova exhaust wiring is simple but the gearbox if elec will need to be changed to a cable type. The bottom pully can be kept you need to use a Tigra non power steering alternator belt.

Yeah, didn't come to that as I had a stainless downpipe and cat bypass made and they've stayed tight since - odd as stainless expands/contracts more than mild steel.
