take your gear linkage off, remove the std link, fit the new one & refit it

i was being honest & serious...

most of the jobs on novas really are simple & straighforward, people just need to have the confidence to do them. just a haynes book & some axle stands & a couple of spanners, and the whole job should take less than an hour.

I know, thats what made me chuckle.

Disconnect the battery before you start this job. I shorted my rose jointed linkage between the starter motor and the chassis a few times when removing and refitting it when i was making adjustments.
