Hi, My mate used to have a C20XE engine aswell and bought a head gasket set, the cheap one i do believe from somewhere for about 20 maybe cheaper, im rebuilding mine and he gave it to me for free. what you recon on using it? All in mint conidtion just i am unsure, but its free! :thumb:

Brand name should be on the packet, is it a well known one?

Vauxhall seem to mark up this sort of stuff by about 40%, often you can get the same quality stuff through a motor factor or engine reconditioners

i only ever use/supply elring, ive just seen a headset a mate got 'cheap' the quality was ****e.

people will say ' ive bought cheap and they last'. some do some dont, have to decide yourself. but the decent goetze headgaskets are about £15 on there own!
