Brings me onto my next point though. A few years back Americans never ran anythign larger than 14" gold Daytona wires like in your pic. Then they got into the 'import/tuner' scene and started bolting 17/18" rims to their 'moms' Civics and it seemed to spread to American cars (IMO).

Research is required when I CBA. Chip Foose/Barry White etc styled cars with up to 20"? rims can look awesome because he lowers them unlike those crazy porch monkeys. lol
