Does anyone have a nova with the chrome window surrounds fitted i know they very rare but they have been seen about like on Mboasty lovely smooth black nova i think they cam standard on the old b reg b novas not 100% tho.
I have been looking for ages for a set and did get hold of a some then they got lost in the post typical not happy at all :( but if anyone has a set who wants to sell i will pay good money for them.. pm me..

The GSi window frames are made from aluminium, you could just polish them to a mirror finish ?

The paint on them is thicker than the ally they make them from. If you polished them, there would be nothing leftlol

I only have the part numbers for the saloon rear frames, so thats no use to you :(
Might be worth a PM to Duick and see if he can source any from Europe?

I had them on my A reg GL. But when 5 years ago when i was 16 i primed them for painting :mad:. I never even keyed the surface just on with the primer lol im going to give them a lick of nitro mors and see if it comes off. They would look great on the A reg build.

Just for the record saloon ones dont fit a hatch.
Tommy, why not just have your current window surrounds chromed? As I very much doubt it would cost much to have them done. I know of a very good place who would do them too.

Sport makes a good point, saloon ones curve more instead of coming to a point

I dont think ive ever (in person) seen another nova apart from mine with them on...
Seen a few in pics, but very rare indeed.
Nick has a good plan.... As dont forget 25year old window surrounds wont be in the best condition.....

Paignton? She says, its a x18xe i do believe with creme cally leather, she offered it me at the time but i hadn't got the cash or could i insure it
