basically i have been converting my engine (from c14se to c20xe) for the past month and a half (due to not having much time) and have just about finished everything apart from the wiring of which i am no good with. to cut along story short, one of my mates said he would do that side of it and fair play to him for trying but he has made an even bigger mess then before lol . i was just wondering if anyone has any more info on wiring diagrams (already checked the articles) as i dont really want to call an auto electrician. thanks in advance brad :thumb:

sorry c20xe (dizzy) forgot to mention, old engine that came out was the 1.4 sr (c14se)
lambda sensor model or not? are the wires to connect to near the ecu or in the engine bay above the gearbox?

yeh its not just that lol my freind has pulled all sorts of wires out in his quest to get it going, apparently its only getting ignition when engageing the starter motor but he now cant get any of the electrics working
wtf? you only need to connect about 7 wires, it runs with 3 but then you dont have dash info lol
A permanent live, ignition live, and fuel pump 12v will get the engine running.
All the wires you need to connect on the XE loom are on a plug, either in the bay, or in the footwell by the ecu. Sounds like your mate has gone pulling the loom to bits!
