If you want to pay a grand for a 1.0ltr nova then yes its worth it, if you dont then no its not!

its only worth it if your willing to pay it tbh. i think 990 for a standard pov spec MK2 is abit ott imo

now if it was a Mk1 i may be tempted lol

All i can say is give it a dam good look over, even take a screwdriver the biggest you can find to scare the dealer lol
the description isnt all that great

If it's as clean as it looks then I don't see why not

If it was £1500 or whatever I'd say no but just less than £1k seems reasonable aslong as it's as tidy as it looks

does it have tax and test, i didnt look.

if so then thats like 400 quids worth of car. can you justify the other 500ish for a clean nova?

and IMO i wouldnt buy it :)
if you come to sell it. it has very little resell value being a base model. the only real selling points would be. no sunroof and solid shell for rallying.

3k for a nova.

you can get some serious speed for 3k.
1k on a bike - suzuki bandit or gsxr. plenty of speed
1k on a sensible nova.

and 1k for insurance

your looking more like 3 grand for a tidy sr lol what has happpened to the price of novas!!!

your looking in the wrong places

cars novas on pistonheads ebay and autotrader are astronomicly priced imo

local free ads and papers are the places to look good value ones are still out there

jakeufton

i look at it as a very good c20xe/c20let basis.

others look at it as just a daily driver.

my shell was 500 euro, and with all the work that got into it, i could have bought this one easely lol

The way prices for standard Novas are going, putting an XE/LET in would devalue it! lol

jakeufton

ill basically be making it look tidyer ive got some speedlines and lowering kit, i aint gnna 20let or 20xe it just wont a nice tidy relibable nova for a to b !

I'd say it's worth six to seven hundred at the most, re the prices that people are putting on cars you have to remember that anybody can put any price on anything... the thing is if it sells or not, i could put my car on ebay for 5 grand when in reality its worth about three, anythings only worth as much as someone's prepared to pay !

I brought silk violet 1.2 for 400 once with full mot and only 49,000 miles!! I don't think it's worth it to be honest especially as you don't need a brilliant shell as won't be competing etc in the car. Let us no how the viewing goes:thumb:
