There was one thread on cruisenotts where people said they didnt like it because they prefer cruises in retail parks, but thats the ONLY negative ive heard at all, and obviously its never going to be possible to do this sort of event with non-stop donuts and burnouts all night long in a retail park without the police prosecuting people.

Other than that EVERY SINGLE post i have seen on every site has been entirely positive.

Still, Ian and Micky dont generally let the facts stand in the way once they start bitching, and no doubt will do what micky is bitching about happening (in threads that he himself admits here were posted for no reason other than to cause agro, which is why they were deleted from cruiboard as any childish thread trying to row would be anyway) and just delete this anyway, as they dont like the truth being spoken on "their" forum.


As far as the numbers go, there were 400 cars there (well thats how many paid on the way in anyway, so thats the facts despite what ian is trying to imply about onnly being 200).
As far as me claiming they stopped people going, i havent at all, i said they tried to, not that i thought they succeeded in doing so.
The reason I dont believe they actaully managed to stop many people going, is that 400 cars for a convoy only cruise in march is pretty good going, and especially so for one that is something a bit "different" like this was and where people had to pay to get in as well.
I should think we will be at the 1000 car plus mark for the next one, although dont know when that will happen yet as we havent found a location yet.

I didnt compile that list of quotes, i copied them from elsewhere where somebody else put them all together, so its not my slant on things anyway.

Like i said only bad comments that i saw were about it not being in a retail park, if i had seen other bad comments i would mention those too, as any inteligent critism (good or bad) is much appreciated as it can only help us improve things for the next one.

Id hardly call those negative really, people were still saying they had a good night, even those who thought there would be more than the 400 cars that attended, to be honest whitey looks a bit like you are clutching at straws to pull those 1 or 2 comments out of a flood of positive ones really, thats a bit sad IMHO

Besides numbers being higher or lower than expected isnt really a good or bad thing either way really as it depends a lot on peoples view beforehand on what to expect, which will vary wildly anyway, some people thought there would be more, some thought there would be less, as like i said no one could really guess at numbers in advance, personally i was expecting 500 or so as a pure guess, so 400 wasnt very different to that i guess really, in the end it worked out quite well as it meant we all fitted in one area rather than having to use the others we had as well (had 5 all together).

It was me that removed the post last time because it was just turning into a big arguement and not doing your cruise, or this site any good.

Sounds fair to me Ben, always think its funny when you ask people who went for an actaul opinion of what it was like and instead get people who didnt go making guesses!

Best bet for you is probably to pick a random cruise forum (it seems to have got a feature and/or forum thread on most) and just read what people who went thought of it.

You could try those ones i posted for feedback from people who enjoyed it, not sure where to look for people who didnt as pretty much everyone who has posted so far seemed to enjoy it, so i dont have an example of negative feedback, must be one somewhere though, after all its not possible to please everyone at once, so some poeple must have had some issues with it i guess.

Didnt go myself but know a lot of people who did and they all say it was the best cruise they have been to in ages.

Chip and jd put loads of effort into this only to be slagged by people like Ian etc.

All i can say is, i'll be at the next one 100% and so will everyone i know.
