my m8 has just brought a 1 ltr, is it worth tuning??

suggested a zorst and a better filter just 2 make it sound better

neting else??

lol.. nutin wrong with 1L's! got 1 meself!! fairly cheap insurence.. although il be upgrading after 1 years driving experience and 1 years no claims! :D

put an anftermakret filter in the dustbin lid box, and drill big holes around the outside of it.

other than that id leave alone

Get a bolt on filter & exhaust, then no more engine/tuning mods... Would be a waste of money. If he still wants more power, get a new engine.

Also mate, try checkign out the 1.0L feature cars and seeing what others have done to the engines... you can always PM them for more details! Joe

ive got a 1.0 and here are the best thing to do:

1)new back box (Rage/magnex)
2)K&N bolt on air filter
3)get down a scrappy and get the twin carb off a SR etc

the carb can be alot of hassle gettin the balance right etc but it made a hell of a difference so its worth it.

get a 1.2 ohv from an astra and start experimenting. close ratio 5 speed box may be a help too
