Bear in mind the postage cost can be high from them, iv had to pay 60euro for postage on a slam panel.

I just plated mine (as you can see) I would imagine it is a fair bit of work cutting out the old ones. IMO plates are easier and if done properly the welds can be hidden.

After paint...

Lee H did his turrets, takes big balls to do something that big!

Its not that difficult if you take your time (obviously if you have no idea how to weld or no mechanical knowledge then its silly taking on tasks of this nature) if you are capable of welding competently and you are confident in removing the turret successfully (i think its only spot welds) then have a go, there is always some one around to give advice if you get stuck :thumb:

Well if i was to get some id plan on asking my dad to fit them at his body shop, compared to some of the work ive seen down there it would only be a small task. I wouldnt imagine doing it myself even thou i can weld..lol

Pretty much, yeah. Cut out the rot, used some cardboard for templates and then transfer that to metal sheet. Weld in and grind back all the welds. Once a few coats of primer, etc went on a good finish was achieved.

I wish I could take credit for the work but Chris Astley did it.

Seams were fine on my old ones but had a tiny rust hole in the corner of the turret so decided to make sure the rust was properly gone.
