As Novashed said in the first post- any pics of the lambo burnt orange nova 'LUG 16v'?
Think it had a valver, can't be sure.
And any pics of Brian Hughes blue Nova- was in a feature with a green nova in lax pooer. Was a calder coachworks job
Still love scott coleman's nova- any idea what happened to it? Says on the feature he was sellling it.

I had* every Max pooer from issue 2 to present date (well present date about a year ago) so loads of old skool there, I had about 10 years worth of Fart Car - more old skool Nova-age, I had every tRevs and Bredline - mucho Old Skool.
I also have pretty much every PNG mag printed (Right back to when they were black and white and about 6 pages big!!) right up to middle of last year when I didn't renew my membership.
Max Pooer with Walshys Nova and _Bens_? Jesus I expect even my Mum has got them - common as m8 - common as!!! I once had 3 copys of the a16 VTB Nova issue of Max, I gave 2 away and kept one for myself.

was that the red one; think it was 2 years ago on mig stand. i saw it had 32,000 milkes i think; was around ?3500. But that was modded; 16" speedlines, digi dash, moved ariel, lowered etc etc.

Think Rami was from Leeds way? His yellow one did indeed die, someone said he put an Xe in it and it fell to bits? lol
He went on to build another one, a silver GSI with those wheels on it, full interior retrimmed in black leather, ice install etc etc Was very nice :D

VPCC day at Trentham Gardens, John HIltons Nova, Siemon Bellis nova was there too i believe?? (this show was on the day Princess Diana died i think, remeber hearing it on the radio drivig to the show....??)

Ramis... i remember that day to!! 17" BBS style rims nice!! That was at York i think, i went in mine on the Sat and my mums on the Sunday... On the saturday me and Damian got done for speeding 100+ but got let off and the copper did us for 90mph 3 points and a fine!! pheww!!
DIY?? where the pics of the wide arch Nova, the Sprint kit arches etc?? Rob Smith (Spiderman) has this kit for his spider i believe??
As for my mums Red 1992 K GSi its still mint all original apart from GForce Sport 200 disk and pads (cheaper to but than Vaux O.E stuff!!) and a JP exhaust....
Rick Draper, it had a bump up front which was sorted and while it was being repaired it had 2 new inner wings and wings, bonnet, front panel, grill, and it had a new rear panel fitted while it was there as it was getting rusty!! (no rear end shunt!!) the following year Adrian Culley gave it a full respray due to traditional red paint fade!! The car at the mo hasn't turned a wheel for ages, its been in the garage a home and its plugged into the mains with one of those draper charger jobbies, and it fires up perfectly when ever ive tried it!!
If someone offers the right money it will be sold!! if not i might use it

Don't know him personally mate, always looked for his car at the shows though- looked truly awesome at one point with the BBS's on it. One of few genuine cars full of different ideas.

Dave, the nova G296 SGS, is that the one taht was featured many years ago in fast car? It was a joint feature with a red valver? The car had nitrous on it, 13 engine and was quiker than the valver! Got me started that car did.
Allso the black one is pete neals car isnt it, or was it matt neal? i allways got his name wrong. Would be intresting to find where most of these novas are now.

Another one to watch out for this year (If it's done in time) is this one - It's being TOTALLY stripped down and rebuilt much like Brett W's was - down to the last bolt!!

Raceline RL7's - dont think they're available at the moment. Could try Courtenay for a set as they were supplying them at one point...

Back few notes (to Ian Searles peppermint car) someone asked about the GSE badge....
, GSE was because the car was half GTE and half GSI (and half 1.0 merit, so that should be 1/3rd gte, 1/3rd gsi and 1/3rd merit.)
hang on, it's got a corsa engine.....
So it's 33% gsi, 33% gte, 20% merit and 3% corsa.
That's only 89%. The other 11% is ...................

Ahhh - that brings back memories - finished putting engine in about at 10pm - a quick blast up the road and then off to the pub to celebrate !!
Loved the flames it used to spit out of the back - and the popping noises it made on overrun - great - all cars should sound like that !!!

The interior on the Nova is a replica of a interior that Carisma did on a feature R5GTT - It was the one they built after the 'Ali G' one I think.
If you look at the scan from Jim you'll see that the mag with the R5GTT feature is open on the passenger seat.
A spotaneous round of applause and cheers for this post. It has brought me through dark days with happiness (since the penalty fuckup last night!!)

The interior on the Nova is a replica of a interior that Carisma did on a feature R5GTT - It was the one they built after the 'Ali G' one I think.
If you look at the scan from Jim you'll see that the mag with the R5GTT feature is open on the passenger seat.

I really wanted to go that revs day at brunters too- but i only had my sheddy 1.2 merit at the time. Would have been far too embarassing.

This was the first Nova i heard of with modded stub axles - welded 20mm higher on the beam. Springs were chassis dynamics. The car looked awesome on the day, mega clean and low but not running right.

Marcus's nova never had a 1.6. It started life as a 1.3SR in helious blue, and then he fitted an XE on 45's, 17's, GSI kit etc and had it featured in Max, front cover car!

I'm gonna change my billy & coilspring setup for Full Avo setup, with eccentric top mounts etc. I know its not the best coilovers avaliable, but i'll be able to run it very very low :D

Oh shit it's me in my old car!!! GSI'd up SXI. Ran a 16.89 qtr at 81mph. 29th fastest out of 200 on the day!!! not bad to say it only had 1600 with a filterand exhaust and a fat passenger (and driver lol!!)
I'd just bought my shell for my purple valver, and immediately after Brunters, I gave my white nova to my girlfriend. I'd had it since it was 18months old (registered july 1992 i bought it jan 1994) and she sold it in '02 to buy a calibra!!

If we sticky it, it'll make no odds to pictures being deleted. Don't think we should start it again, but it would be nice if it got cleaned up a bit. Get some of the posts deleted that are general chit chat and keep the post to just pictures?
