Hello,
I'm Chris (Rickardo's brother with the Mk1 Astra), some of you have already met me knocking about at shows. PVS 08/09 & Billing 09.
After the disater of PVS 09, I thought it may be time do a different show.
I've always fancied a euro-show.
Looking into the Opel Treffen in Oschersleben in June 10.
As by chance it's in this months TV for things to do for 2010
I've already had feedback from the oragnisers about a UK club stand and they will do that for us.
Checking out ferry/tunnel prices at the mo.
Some bargains if booking that far in advance.
Eurotunnel £138 return
P&O Ferries £50 return!
The dates i put in were depart 2nd June 8am ish & return 8th June 8pm ish.
It's 484 miles from Calais (60mph avg 8 hrs drive all motorway/autobahn)
The dates are 1 week before PVS (12/13th June) so doesn't clash.
On the way back i was thinking of a trip to the ring.
Arrive sunday afternoon/early evening at the ring , Have all Monday/Tuesday morning to go round, then get the ferry back at tea time.
It's not that far to divert from the way back to the ring, so thought it would be good to have a go on it.
Anyone up for this?
I think it would be nice to meet up and have a Proper European meet!
