if its loosing water it sounds like the head gasket chap, that would also explain the no heater issue.

Have you checked the oil for oil/water mix? Sounds like headgasket may have gone.

Have you got anti freeze in?

go under the dash and check if the cable is connected to the heater matrix :thumb:

as nipplepalm said, or you have a blocked matrix which might help cause the HG problem and steam etc.

If you put your location in your profile, someone local might be able to help....

im gunna check cable 2moro, iv just got bak from work and ive lifted my bonnet kept engine running to see if my fan kicks in to see if that could be why overheating and my fan didnt kick in and it started steamin an water comin out where engine coolant goes?
if this helps?

The other thing is if you have an airlock; doesn't need to be much bigger than 5cc and it can stop circulation and/or make the system boil up.

Clear it by warming the engine up to round about the thermostat opening temperature and CAREFULLY release the bleed point (usually the brass temperature sensor) a little and let the bubbles come out. Bleeding vauxhalls 'cold' doesn't always do the trick. And it helps if the car is on level ground.

That definately sounds like head gasket as it's exhaust gasses getting into the coolant system which causes the build up in pressure, are the coolant pipes hard when it's runnin??

If no heat a it the heater matrix
Check to see if this has been bypassed (you'l c a join in the pipe and it wil probly run past the heater matrx). if it has it must of been leekin cause carpet to be wet in footwells. Easy cheap repair.
