Centre consol

Are the holes for the screws allready in the body for the consol on a mk2?

My car is a 1L trip

Wanna add one but wanna know before i cut the carpet.

And do i have to remove the gear gaitor to fit it?

yeah all the holes are alreay there and the gear gaiter dont need to be removed! its a piece of pi$$!

Rang a scrappers this morning, yes they had one in a j reg, went for it. took me ages to remove the blanking plate to get to the screw.

took it out and into the office (" that'll be a fiver please") i was like wow only a fiver.


Took it home washed it , the washed the dash.

felt for the holes, cut em and screwed the consol in and looks mint. it fills the empty void that once was. :D
