Used to race a FG 1/5th scale nationally, got to expensive and slowly people stopped doing it so it got boring. Great fun though, better than 1/8th and 1/10th scale imo!

i buy 1 every now and again to play with, normally end up crashing it or stripping it and never building it back up then flogging it (same as my actual cars as far as that goes)

I've a Tamiya DF-03 buggy with a 9t brushless and 7.4v lipos, its great fun!

Also have a TL-01 Touring car with and Astra and Calibra shell.

I'm picking up an older TA03 Belt drive Calibra Cliff next week, New in box never built!

I'm looking to get a 6900kv mamba max brushless system and 11.1v lipos for my buggy soon. It'll do about 60mph then!

Obviously the above were newly built, they are now battlescared, and the buggy is on it's second chassis LOL

And buying this week - http://www.tamiyafr.lp-concept.info/images/modeles_100a200/58188.jpg

DF-03 is a good chassis, but the alloy pinion wears. Especially when running brushless and lipo power, they can get crazy fast!

he left the rc scene a while back and has got rid of everything apart from this df03 thats not very exciting thoe

I don't go to meets or race, mine are just a hobby to pass the time. After I'd finished building the Nova I started collecting the RC stuff.

Although other brands can be better than Tamiya, I prefer to build Tamiya's, and I like their old skool stuff, like the Grasshopper and Lunchbox.

IIRC Ernie used to do alot of RC stuff. Not sure if he does anymore.

I've got a 1/6th lotus elise, is pretty fast. Too fast actually, everytime i fix it i smash it up and it cost loads to fix. It currently has most of its front end missing lol
