i have recently put a redtop in my nova but im not sure i have still got that ALDL plug. is there any other way to test the ecu codes?

Put the brown/yellow wire on the ecu to car loom plug, to earth

sorry for sounding stupid but i don't fully understand. the brown/yellow wire that comes from the ecu plug into the car loom? and then just put it to any earth.

It will come from the ecu/engine loom, wont go anywhere...

These plugs will be by the ECU, touch it to any earth the codes will ECU light will flash
