I used them on the roads over last summer due to them being a road legal tyre but by all accounts they are now (on black circles anyway) track only.

Yes they are road legal. I wouldnt want to use them everyday though on anything worst than damp roads.

there e marked so road legal if the police get funny if your stopped show them the e mark on the tyre and aslong as the grove depth is legal you will be fine

iirc lotus use them on the exige as standard

Yes they are road legal. I wouldnt want to use them everyday though on anything worst than damp roads.
It's -6 tonight they'd be awesome lol not. Very scary in the wet and not recomended at all.

fine for definate not sure about points but what engines in the car if its not standard ie xe you can usualy get away with it but just dont give it full throttle when the police are about then how will they know its too loud ive never been stopped with mine and its 2.5in with only 1 box and has been for about 4 years

dont romove the backbox imo thats asking for trouble is easily visable take the centre box out if your removing boxes imo

Get some yoko 21's :p they are unreal. only last me one rally driving hard (170miles usually) and I get them for £60 a tire. So not very cost affective I'm affraid.

why do you feel that you need road legal slicks?

What else has been done to the handling of the car to justify them?
They wear fast as they are mega soft, will be crap from now till april, cost a lot for what you are doing with them etc etc

T1R's are crap tyres imho, unless you get below a 35 profile as the walls are made from cheese.

I have always been told, the limit is at the discression of the mot tester, I got done on my moped, and they had no meter or anything!

Just said "We deem it (Crazyly) Loud!

As looking on the net, there is no decible limitlol

My Nova has an XE and I would say it's very loud but still passes MOT, it's that lound I sometimes get embarresed driving it in the city at night but on the back roads on the over run it's ace.....pops and bangs
