View Full Version : Built A Diy Snow House Took 4 Hours Lol
Today had no work so me my bf & a few friends made a snowman, We then wanted a new challenge & thought about making a house of snow.
Took 4 hours, Stands 9 foot tall, 7 foot wide, Walls are 1 foot thick & has over 100 blocks of snow, Made of only snow & has no supports.
Maybe a uk record as we dont get much snow.

i cheated and used a couple of bits of wood.look carefull and above the door is a skateboard lintel.lol

As for the roof I assume staggering the snow bricks until they eventually meet or near as, would suffice.
If it drives then it would be a car.. to a degree.

We didnt cheat, for the door we just built up an arch of snow until it was thick enough to hold 2 blocks above it.
the roof was a task, We made loads of small snow balls then built them up & inwards until they met in the middle then put loads of snow on top & compacted it. it was pretty cold last nite so now really hard. should be around for afew weeks even after the snow has gone.
