anyone got one of these on their car? thinking about buying one but would like to see some pictures of one fitted first if possible. also is it really loud or fairly quiet?

I had one on my 1.6 8v, now on "Prey"s car. 4-1 manifold and full mild steel system.

Great fit, looks good at the back with a subtle 2" black pipe. Sounds great, almost silent <2000rpm for tootling about late at night but would sound ace when hammering it at higher rpm.

Get one!

I had one on my car (manifold and exhaust) and it sounded like a wet fart, i took it back in the end, Southie on here can verify the noise aswell lol

lol lol I'm positive it wasn't blowing, i suppose noise is a personal thing :wisewood:


I just never really liked it, on my videos you can't even hear the exhaust note

Maybe the noise of your old 40's drowned it out lol It did sound too raspy though.

Not sure. I know Iain's had a massive backbox which is what cut a lot of noise/rasp down.

I had one on my old 1.4 and the backbox now lives on the GTE. IMO they are nice and subtle, as said there a good fit too.

As Iain said - ive got one, i think its fine, noticable but not antisocial - and can still hear it over the carbs (just about).
