Looking at the slam panel etc this looks as though it was once an early SR (snow plough)
not that early as it had stick on bump strips instead of pin

Still salvageable though, surely?! It's just the kid/bodged skirts and arches that're the real killer

For the money it would take to put the shell right again it really wouldn't be worth the hassle.
Look at the interior, roll cage everywhere, and the doors have been hacked to bits.

Errr if thats a stockrod wont they be metal skirts and arches for contact protection, they look welded to the wings to me?
ive messaged the guy he said it was a complete a reg sr, and that he ebayed all the bits off it, he has the v5.
ive not seen a burberry check nova interior come up on ebay for the last year. i check nearly every day. only seen rear bench and manta ones

well then hes a cock!!!
Its his to do with as he wishes!
Some people would say that about you for making an estate, and cutting shells up etc!
At the end of the day, I know of atleast 5 tidy shells for under £500, and while theyre only worth pennies, people are going to cut/shut/ruin whatever them!
Lads near me have 2 mk2 escort autograss cars that they smash the life out of ffs!

Yes metal welded to sills/archs lol otherwise they would just fall off once it gets contact!

Yep, can't see too many people caring about saving them until they're worth good money. :)
What's to say the shell didn't have rusty arches and sills anyway, and just be plated up before the 'kit'?

Few years ago, burberry interiors were mostly all chucked away as people wanted GTE/GSi interiors or bucket seats. Ahhhh

Cant believe how much of a waste it is, A reg aswell :(
ive massaged the guy lol
I don't really see the harm if he's got the V5 (probs willing to sell it IMO) and he sold off all of the bolt on bits to go towards other Novas.

what did he tell you ?
A mate of mine used an immaculate sr shell to build a stock rod from. He prefers tidy, unrotten shells as (obvioulsly) they're stronger. Can't see a problem with it tbh. I've seen cars on here like that and they take aaagggges to sell!

He doesn't know if it was an SR, and that there is no V5 with it........

Plus easier/quicker to build as no area need to be repaired if you find any lol (archs/battery tray etc)

Exactly, I was offered an immaculate sport shell as some know, and I turned it down!
As I get bored sooo easily, I need to be fiddling!
So Both the novas are coming off the road, and fingers crossed a new daily is coming:)
So, restore the 2 shells, and have 2 mint cars, or go and buy them?
