Comments Welcome :thumb:
always liked these...and v8 too! lovely cars but they apparently leak bad causing electrical faults.
Is it modded under the bonnet too as those rear wheels look like they are there for a good reason!
Awesome cars. That one looks really clean I seen one at the weekend with 15x10 Wolfrace Slots on the rear. It's about to get a NOS Ford V8 that my mate just sold him.
I cant say if it has or not as i havnt actually had time to speak to the owner, when hes next in ill speak to him and ask him if i can take a few pics of the car, but yeah the wheels there look like there for a good purpose lol
One of them in PPC a while back, retro cars :)
Bodywork should be good if looked after even a little bit, IIRC they are plastic :)

Yeah, but the metal frame can rust and crack the shell. Nice to see a decent one.
my old boss restored one, a 1973 model. it was lovely, ford 3.0 v6 noise is nice.
i nearly bought one at a farm sale once for a tenner, but i had nowhere to store it, so it got burnt & the scrap weighed in.....

Ford V6 under the bonnet on most as standard.
Early 3 litre ones used to catch fire lol
Love the front, hate the back
i had one a few years ago, same engine/running gear as a 2.8 capri :) lovely cars, no more rust with that fibreglass shell!
Love the front, hate the back

much rarer though.
bizarre scimitar fact...
ogle design created a one off design study car to test out some clever glass designs with a sporty estate body... Prince Phillip took one look at it & asked if he could have it. thus the scimitar was born
pfffft Merlin powered one with rolls royce grille FTW

I guy I used to work with had a 1973 3.0 v6 SE6 and was a decent motor really but as most they mechanically break down (well his did alot). I love the old Wolfrace alloys on these.
I prefer the middlebridge version tbh.
He's now bought a SE5 for full restoration. :)

They're great cars, we get a lot of them racing at hillclimbs and sprints.
There's a really quick one with a Supercharged V6 in it, which a friend of mine was due to buy. But that's been delayed as the car suffered a bit of damage last season;

It's a common thing, I saw one in a farmyard last week under a tarpaulin, and 2 of them up on axle stands in a driveway yesterday.

there was one in ppc the other month with an omega 3.0 v6 fitted looked good and 200bhp in a plastic car should get it sideways nicely

Agreed. Someone I used to work with had one. I think these days it may be referred to as 'Rat Look' lol
Fapping ace looking cars :)
Me & Carrie saw a rather mint condition that she got a pic off when we was out & about.
The primary school i went, the house in a neighbouring street had 3 in bits on his driveway (circa 93ish) now he has one immaculatey restored red one sitting under a car port where the other 2 used to be many years ago!
there a pile of **** worst design ive ever seen we had to change a power steering rack on one fukin stupid ugly kunting thing! grrr hate them!
haha i see everyone has there own opinion's, i personally like them :)
