What is it? A sofa bed??? :d

Fairly rare now, I know Brettski has one on his though. Unless your doing the full Opel attire IMO I think it would look out of place. Maybe sell it on and get some money or keep it for a nice ornament.

Mine does have the Original NOVA 1.3 SR VAUXHALL decal still on the back actually, but its in a bad way. very old and tatty. and coming apart.
Mine is a vauxhall, But would like to see if you can get the GT badge for the front grille. Would be really cool then!
And it is an Original GM which is really cool.

Edd. as i mentioned above. they are not a right match. ill quote of my for sale thread hold on

novasport said this: Also that GT badge does not match the boot decal, the GT badge is for a faclift Mk1 model and I think the boot decal is for a pre-facelift

Edd

All mk1 had boot vinyl didn't they? just the late ones were 1.4?

mayhem

opel never made a gt with the late mk1's. only a SR and a GT version with the early mk1's. these models had the snowplough, the dash with the orange needles, Recaro seats (burberry checkert), unpainted wrap around spoiler, and an option was the 3spoke 'gsi' wheels.

SR is from 83 till 85 and GT from 85 to 87.

both had the boot graphic with the opel corsa 1.3 GT/SR decal.

Was told of a chap who had 6 sent to him in the end, as they were all getting bent in the post!

Yeah, they made a right mess of them aswell! I saw them at Ades bodyshop, way beyond repair:(

Right, boot decals. There were 4 types: Corsa 1.3 SR in grey which was on the very early cars(82, 83 & 84), then the Corsa 1.3 GT in grey(which the ones from Opel Classics are), Corsa 1.3 GT in blue/grey fron 88 onwards then the Corsa 1.4 GT in blue/grey from about 90 til end of mk1 production.

On the subject of Opel Classic Parts Center,

Is it possible to order from there website ? Or just on eBay.de ?

I tried there website but can't seem to be able to get to the stage of ordering anything.

Any one with any help or experiences ?

seems like alot of people on here use them then,

how come there are so many good parts on ebay.de still

brand new 3 spoke center caps for a fiver each

8 available. plus the 20 quid postage. means you are paying out about 60 quid.

selling them on for a tenner, means 2.50 profit. which isnt worth it in my opinion

Edd

^ perhaps not everyone wants to make a profit lol

I get quite a few bits from them, you got to be quick tho cause they have some rare stuff but it goes quickly.

are the last 2 opel decals? iirc Opel stopped the boot decal after the GT, and the GT was replaced in 1987 by the gsi (gte)

Aside from the obvious profit, maybe people like to keep stuff as options for changing things in the future.

I now have about 4 or 5 different front ends for the saloon, no intention to sell the parts, merely collecting bits in case I decide to change it lol
