anyone else in the same boat?
this could end in divorce.....need to get married first....after 13 years of living in sinlol .
she claims i ignore her when online and that im a slow ass typer who cant spell and she has to sit and watch for my typos!

no chance! there is no way you are comparing a lotus carlton to a nova loon. its the design that shouldnt of been put into production the only reason they did them is for the transition from boot to hatch because when the nova came out boots were still popular amongst old duffers that didnt want the new fangled hatch shape. its obvious that the nova was primaraly designed as a hatch the boot was an after thought for sales, all car makes at the time did the same thing. HATCH 1 -LOON 0

Bareshell rebuild! took 3 years and almost £20k to build!!! lol 320 bhp with nitrous! concours as you can get! pics dont do it any justice its spec'd up with a load of rare german parts too really took my time with it, shes been locked away for 2 months havent seen her! lol.

I went through comparethemarket and it came back as what I put in the thread, although what Flux quoted on for my 1.6 wasn't bad, a gnats pube under £700.

Thing is though premiums have shot up over the past couple of months because of the amount of accidents caused by the weather so insurance companies are trying to recoupe some of the payouts. i found this out on the weekend when i was looking for a renewal quote for my 1.2 nova (bearing in mined i havent paid more than £300 for 3 years and i had a 2.0 cavalier during that time) which came back at £500!!! i was well gutted!

lol a get grief constantly bad mood shouting swearing stinking moods and being called all the ba***RDS under under the sun and why im such an ar**hole for being on this computer all day when ive been on and off it for a couple of hours max a day and when i explain that a) ive got ads on ebay im watching b) im listing stuff on ebay c)we need a new car because ours is funked so im looking for a cheap one to tide us over d) im a club member on here which i piad for and was on here before we started going out so im making the best of it and have friends on here and attend area meets etc e) you spend twice as long doing your work on here at night which you should do during the day at work instead of skiving chatting etc. but NO im still the still the all the b****rds of the day everythings my fualt i dont do nout im this im that my fault this that and the next thing bla bla bla. lol sorry bout the rant :thumb: just my daily ocurance at the moment

My girlfriend is real tidy :) loves the nova as it means I'm not out all the time and wasting money, plus she enjoys coming to help marshal etc when I'm competing :) got a good one. Doesn't like me on here all the time though, says my time be better getting car ready for next outing but it's very cold this time of year :(

I just don't like hatchbacks in general. They're traditional chav cars - Novas, Corsas, Saxos, 106s, Civics etc. I don't really like the shape of them either, for me a car has to have a bonnet and a boot.
