Help: Possible Project?!?

Hi Everyone,

Within the next couple of months I am going to start looking for a Nova to start a project.

I am looking for something thats going to be a slight challenge but thats not too rotten!

One of the questions I want to ask is Where can panels be bought for Novas now for example rear arch repair panels / slam panel under bonnet etc??

Whilst looking for a project where do they rot most?? I've had a few Novas already and this is where I know they rot so far:
-Boot floor
-Slam panel
-Rear arches

Any info would be great help.

Me too. A GSi shell here, been saved already, but would benefit a panel or 2 & some fresh paint, if you fancy a challenge.

Ollie i have a shell at the minute that could be a good first project, im in lofthouse ,wakefield come have a look and see if its any good?

As stated above...they'll pretty much rot everywhere. However the majority of it is repairable.

Beavers panel do non GM parts. I can't comment on the quality or fitting but i know they supply many parts.

Ive just stripped a mk 2 shell for repair and found rust at the bottom passanger side of the windscreen underneath the rubber. took windscreen out and a patch fell out. also removed dash and under there was bad aswell at top on other side of the bulk head.

My friend is breaking his 2 litre 16v corsa. The engine is damaged - the inlet valves are all bent and slight damage to top of pistons.

He has another engine which he was going to make 1 good engine out of them both but has given up. Both engines are in bits but he says I can have both engines with the M Tech conversion kit for £500.

Is this a good deal and can I use the conversion kit from his corsa with my nova?
