I'm 17, under my garage's policy (where I work, not my own) I don't think there's any limitations, other than my boss!

Obviously some other limitations other than your age then as i know a few people under 21 with tradex,

Try unicom and choicequote too, not sure about choicequotes age restrictions.

try trade plan, im 22 with 2 years no claims, they will only cover me on petrol up to 2 litre and diesel upto 2.5. it does limit you a bit when buying and selling cars but i have a recovery transit so it's not a problem. cost £1100 and i can add carriage of good's for an extra 350 so that covers any vehicle being carried on my recovery.

choice quote is good, quite basic but cheap enough

No you can get a part time motor trade policy which covers you for socil domestic and pleasure and any activity in the motor trade, sometimes you need proof of eligability such as audited accounts, car v5's etc and sometimes they take your word for it, as read in this thread due to age and experience some companies will add restrctions and cps on cc and value etc.

Just beware if going for a trade policy they dont pay out retailmoney in the event of a claim, as your trade you get the trade value which is quite a lot less in most circumstances.
