Im currently paying roughly £500 for my 1.6 Gsi but since the insurance runs out in few days and the XE conversion has started i thought id better get some 2ltr quotes
the first and only so far is £1.290 with adrian flux
Iam 24 with 5 years ncb
quote package covers:-
wheels, suspension, exhaust , car with c20xe conversion, fully comp
£500 audio cover
and a £350 excess fee
i still have a couple of others to try but does this sound reasonable enough as im not familiar with this kind of insurance? opinions welcome:)

Try Sky mate if they will cover you.
As said, i was 22, 4years ncb, nova xe track car (cage/coilovers/buckets etc etc), and my policy cost around £550 for the year

28 years old with 1 YEARS NCB! are you something of a boy racer riggylol
ill give them a try too tah:thumb:
I assume you have a crappy postcode for that price... even £500 on the GSi is steep.
I'd expect to pay more ITRO £800, certainly under a grand. Its only 50bhp up on the GSi...

no lol my ncb is on my daily haha ,
Sky won't quote as its OL postcode.
I pay £590 fully comp on my LET Nova with Flux, 28 with 7 years NCB so it does sound a bit steep.
HIC couldn't offer me a sensible quote at all.
Try Brentacre, I pay £400 fully comp on the Corsa XE with 4 years NCB.

£400 for an XE corsa...yet only £190 more for an LET nova with how many more horses and worth how much more? lol
Insurance is fecking stupid..lol
Corsa is used for commuting to work though and parked on a drive, Nova is garaged and not covered for driving to work.

Well i have now heard from sky and like people have siad they say they cant insure modified cars only! around the OL region??
anyways i managed to reduce my original quote from flux to £1.012 by adding another experienced driver etc..
I still have a couple to hear from so fingers crossed ill come across a good/better deal:)

I'm in an OL postcode and I'm paying somewhere between £6-700 fully comp on a similar spec with HIC. (I'll check tonight)
Parked on drive, 5k miles, commuting, £2k agreed value, 30 years old, 1 year NCB
I'm 28 and my XE cost me £360 FC with Sky with my full NCD mirrored. I phoned Sky first and when they gave me the price, i didn't even bother ringing anyone else!
