Anyone here work with vac formers or for a company that does vac forming?

I need two pieces making up, I have the blanks/molds to do it etc.
approx sizes are 400mm long, 100mm wide and approx 150mm tall (one piece is 100mm tall instead). Dont know if its possible but can it be done with a psltic that will set once with heat and never change again

All the local places that I've found want a min order of £117.50 to do it the feckers!!!! For that much I'd buy a machine myself and undercut the gits lol.

A couple of secondary schools I've worked at had them in their tech department. If you know any secondary teachers, it may be worth asking them...

The ones in secondary school are only really suitable for thin plastic, and they're remeltable??

I know most schools have them, mine did way back in the 90's lol

I dont get why so few places do it... the machines are fairly cheap at £2K

I'll see what Techplas can do :)

bah - make your own!

3 frames and a box and a hoover!

Heat the plastic in an oven on 70 - 100'c for 10 mins testing occasionally - seal between the frames and then shove the hoover up its ****!

Suck the life out of it whilst wafting with a heat gun!

sorted!
