Problem with Vista is that it's not XP.

Thats not good posted up on a few vista forums no answers yet though:cry:
When you say it won't let you log in, what does it actually do? Any error messages?

All it keeps coming up with is THE USER PROFILE SERVICE FAILED THE LOGON
USER PROFILE CANNOT BE LOADED:cry:
Sounds like a corrupt profile. Poo.
Assuming you bought the laptop from a shop, i.e. you didn't install Vista yourself - I would guess you don't know what the administrator account password is?

Ive had the computer for about 2 years now and vista was on it when i bought it iknow what the password is it lets me type that in thats when it comes up that message
Can't check running services if he can't log in though. And I'd assume the service was running if the other profile logs in ok...

he should be able to check if he can log in as his Mrs, it may be a dependancy needed for admin
edit, it depends on
remote procedure call
dcom server process launcher
rpc endpoint mapper
if thats any use to anyone lol
