Plz HELP

I have a K reg nova 1.2 single point injection. I have replaced it with the 1.3 nova sport engine but i can not figure out how to do the wireing from the orignal wiring loom. If any one knows how to do this or anywere i can find a decent wiring diagram for both of these cars would be a massive help please PM if u have any clues thanks alot Paul Burney :) :thumb:

am in glossop i bought one of them from ebay but it must have been an old one because it was useless

you need an old one for the sport wiring... & a new one for the spi wiring.

then you chop out the ecu stuff & rig up a coil feed.

the starter & sensor stuff is just swapped over from one to the other

do they still sell the new book? how long is the job roughtly and where is the ecu on the nova?

isn't it behind the dash on the later ones?

basically, you need to isolate the ecu feed & use it to power the coil.

ecu is under the glovebox, find it and rip it out. have you changed the tank ?

you can use the reversing light feed as a coil live as its live for cranked and ign on.

yes, the carb type tank simply has 2 pipes, the spi tank has a pressure pump & swirl pot in it.

apparently you can fit a regulator to lower the pressure. i have no idea where you would get one
