ive just had a letter this morning and no wonder why insurance is so high because if you do have an accident the bloody solicitors cost so much.
I have legal protection and when i recieved my letter there were a list of how much it costs.
?175 an hour :O
?17.50 per every letter they send u and every phone call they make to you.

i think i need a change of career!

not only that the price of new parts is very expensive, the bodyshop where my car is bein done had a mx5 come in with a cracked bumper and smashed indicator lens the indicator lens is part of the bumper so you have to spend about ?300 on a whole new bumper rather than probably ?15 on a new lens

thing is the solicitor wont actually do anything... they will jsut tell an admin clerk to type up the standard letter named something like MIC9845738-3 and send it to you.

Admin clerk on ?5 per huor - solicitor gets 170 quid for a 12 second conversation with clerk!!!

I'm on about 7.2p per min, and becasue I'm paid so low, I worked out that i earn roughly 0.12p per second too...

?17.50 per letter/phone call is pretty cheap, as the normal rate is ?25 plus.

And the ?175 per hour is about average too.

Yep. THAT'S why i did a law degree.

But law does suck.
