I think png should raise the cash, buy it & crush it immediately. it is an insult to the vauxhall nova

Just a trader trying it on.

Clean though and very difficult to price on it tbh...

For a mint one its worth it. Most people buy a ****ter and wack a redtop and plenty of halfords clobber on it. How about putting it in a car worthwhile, or to restore a ****ter properley would cost a couple of grand??

Also if its an original gsi gte or sr logbook as most sports models are reincarnated as 1.2 merrits etc for insurance purposes which is a shame.

Its a 1.2 Expression if it was a Gsi, Gte or Sr in that condition/with that milage it might be worth it.
A car is worth what some one is willing to pay but 1.5k is what I would pay

3k?! its gonig to be a pile of rust by the time hes sold that!lol

Ha! £3k for that!? that cant be right, not even an enthusiast would give it a price tag of anything near that. for a start my mate bought a C-Reg Mk1 with the same mileage for £600 last month in better nick than that red Mk2! the only way a nova would get me to part with £3k is if it was a time warp condition jamaca yellow '84 B-Reg SR.

Another one of these posts....

At least theres less people saying urr its worth £300 - I don't think so, I agree with the £1500 valuation, if, if its as clean as it looks.

I wish nova's would start going for daft money, people might then start appreciating them more instead of scrapping them just cos the back arches are rusty :(

Jack
13-01-10, 09:27 PM
...or not buying them so they get scrapped lol

Mind you, I wouldn't mind values going up. Might make my V6 worth a few G then lol

Nova prices have got way out of control.

They might be worth a grand on srappage sceam but not in private sales.

There has been a couple of sensible priced ones on here tho,

D reg Antibes and the B reg Lynz had forsale briefly are well priced imo.

eBay is full of overpriced nova's but worst of all has to be pistonheads, some real pi$$ takers on there.

For me personally I'd rather spend the extra few ££ on a car that needs no welding/painting etc, I haven't had or don't need the MiG near any of mine yet!!!

Everyone is different though, but I do think £3k is a touch optimistic for that Nova, especially in England, he might have a better chance if it was this side of the Irish Sea, but still doubtful!!

Can't see the picture!!!:(

EDIT - Got it now, should maybe just get them insured, use that mig and take that e-bay advert for the valuation, could be onto a winner!!lol

The red one's old news.

It is ironic because most (not all) his other stock is reasonably priced for a trader.

My Father in Law has a 9K mile 2000 W reg astra 1.6 16V club in red. Imagine what that will be worth in 8 years.

As my previous post i spoke to the guy when i went in before it was for sale, the car was his girlfriends mums and she gave it to her daughter and the bloke used it to get to work. YES it is immaculate and without any marks but when i was talking to him he said they would want about £1000 his price is very over priced and has been dropped anyone noticed?
