hi iv just bought a safety devices rear cage.
i dont want to drill the wholes for it to fit in because i just dont like the look of massive holes everywhere. i want to weld it in instead.
iv seen a someones project thread on hear showing the best way to do it,but cant remember which one lol

sell it & get some sink waste pipe from b&q & make one from that...... because it will be about as much use as welding in a bolt on one........

Just weld some spreader plates to the shell, and weld the cage feet to the spreader plates.

Essentially what people have said above. Weld in the spreader plates then weld the feet to the plates.
