dispak is a two (or more depending how many multiples of two cylinders) coils contined within one unit. there are usually three LT connections supply and two earths (triggerd by the ecu) there are 4 HT connectors and they are connected to the cylinders in such a way that its running wasted spark, ie spark on compression and exhaust stroke.

its better in many ways, ie only 30% loss through the system rather than about 50-65% loss through a dizzy. also it cleans the spark plug if its arcing with no fuel.

hope that helps
