stupid question!!!

i hate this bl*oody car! the electrics keep draining, bad connection, alternator, who knows, anyway, now the interior light above the rear view mirror wont go out and i dont know where the button is!

couldnt event turn the hazards off either so pulled the button out!

is it a nova mk2?
if so have you pulled the headlight switch?
it puts the interior light on

if not there is pin swiches on the front A posts to turn the light on when you open the doors

also if its a mk2 the hazard switch will be fooked more than likely.

Sorry I searched further and found that the interior light is controlled by the main switch, I tried it and it still stays on.

I've just pulled the bulb out!

interior light is an earth switch, so you've got an earth somewhere on the circuit which is shorting it out.
