drill the spot welds with a spot weld drill bit.

Some one on here has got diagrams on how to do them, I remember them showing how to do a front panel and they got a bodyshop panel guide or something.

Id also like to know as ive got to replace mine. Inside the boot its got them bits that attach from the rear panel to the boot floor. Im considering letting a bodyshop do mine.

them bits that connect to the floor and panel are just spot welded on so can be drilled out i think

yeh, use about an 8mm drill bit and drill right through. then when you weld on the new one. plug weld the holes you just drilled.

simples

use cold chisels aswell to get the old panel off. works a treat

only problem with mine is that whoever owned the car previous to me, replaced the lower half of the rear panel with a sheet of metal. looks even tougher...

nah, just rear its not rusty or anything but as i said whoever owned the car previous to me welded a sheet of metal over the lower half of the rear panel. i know you cant see it when the bumpers on but i know it would be there, so im going to change it.

have got this pic from somebody off here, dont no who it was though.
