sorry i didnt space the first pics bad i know but you get the idea,
obviously still a resto in progress,
car is a series one rs turbo
engine is 1.8zvh efi turbo should run around 260 bhp
cossie discs all round
fully polybushed
pro alloy front mount
full scorpion 3 inch exhaust etc etc etc ya get the idea

wow, that's one rebuild! Lovely car, i had one once, was rapid but very, very rotten! Strangely it's the only car i've ever had that i wish i'd still got now.

yes its an original rs,
ive not gone concourse just clean and useable with decent spec it will never be concourse as i dont have the patience or amenities,
i really am looking forward to driving it, i will be repainting it with new decals and dash is back in this week and hopefully on its wheels soon,
the engine is all built ready to fit and will be running soon i hope

will be on 17 inch rs softlines 7 spokes though also have originals too,
just to state it will look standard including orange front lenses and spots still on just the exhaust and wheels otherwise exterior and interior will be standard rs

ahh ok, Imo the 7 spoke is the ONLY wheel for an s1.

nice car mate i use to love my fords i had a mk3 xr3 with a 1.8 zetec on twin 40s

Nova's appear to be galvanised compared to fords, they are terrible !

Very nice fella, Ive owned fiesta rst's and escort series 2's rst's in the past. I always wanted a series 1 but everytime I went to view one they seemed to be wrecked or rotten. Will keep an eye on what seems a good project base you have there!

my mates minter s1 rs is back on the roads round dony in a few days so watch out for it mate!! i dont know why he's going to use it this time off year but he's going to so watch for it!! it is mint mate!!

all the stickers that were missing are on it aswell now it looks ace!!

i will hold you to that rich though ive just bought a full mk3 for spares for all them fiddly brackets that have gone walkies like it always does with something this big of a stripdown,

and the brakes are 300mm focus st170 front and saff cosworth rears so she wil stop:thumb:

ported polished gas flowed head
stage 3 hybrid turbo will be going gt28 though
pro alloy front mount with twin spals
full samcos
currently on beiges but they will be maxxed out so need to upgrade injectors
custom mapped motorsport developments piggyback chip made for my spec via art engineering
aquamist water injection
intercooler water spray
solid lifters

i chose the 1.8 as the zetec bottom end is based round a 1.8 the 1.6s are scaled down 1.8s and the 2.0s are bored out 1.8s though next i will go full zetec turbo but a zetec doesnt look right in the bay of a s1:thumb:

my mate had the 1.8 zetec in his s2 before he sold it to fund this s1 but he's thinking off doing the same!! as i say its back on the road in a few days so watch for it lol
