hi there peeps i was just wondering if the f13cr box will fit the 2.0 seh or would it just blow it up? cheers

wont work mate, its a small block gearbox
has been done before. there is something different about the end of the gearbox shaft & i can't remember which bit needs machining to make it fit.
as long as it is not massively abused, it should be fine.
loads of people seem to complain about gearboxes failing on novas, but i think after 20 years of abuse & a lack of oil changes or even topups is a contributing factor.
ive done it and didnt have a problem with it blowing up, you either need a diesel flywheel or in the past ive re drilled the smallblock flywheel to accept the thicker bolts from the seh, ive got an 2l ecotec in my corsa c sxi atm running the standard box on a re drilled gte fly

yeah im sure someone said you could run the 1.7 astra diesel flywheel
yup i did with the nova gte clutch worked fine no issues with the box handling the 2l
