To be honest i was thinking of trading in the corsa for a daily hack Nova,but there is less rust to deal with on a corsa than a nova:)

Why is it still standard? When we bought it it was a one owner from new 17 years ago. Loved and unchanged in his ownership. He only sold it down to ill health. I'm not going to do anything to it except drive, service and polish it.

We like it as it is, as Vauxhall intended and we have other "toys" for kicks and fun (which is also standard and staying that way lol).

this is the donnor shell i have, it came from a scrap yard in 2002 but the log book wasnt with it, id even go to length of using the complete front end of it and putting it on the GTE so to keep the log book chassis no and engine no all original on the GTE.

I'd keep that shell and use the GTE bits and make something a bit different out it

Doesn't need to be an exact copy of a GTE :) A bit like I'm doing with my Mk1 Nova with the Sport engine and interior

My 1300sr is totaly standard even down to the orange indicators. Oops appart from the last owner raping the parcel shelf and fitting a pair of 6x9's. I'd post pics but I've not got enough posts under my belt.

mine was standard when i bought it...and even a year later all i did was lower it. mainly due to the almost 90degree roll around corners lol

Mines is standard. The only thing I have to do to it is put Michelin MXL tires to the front wheels as they are the original tyres. I bought in July 2010 from a 75 year old that had it from new.
