Someone a wee while ago posted a link to another forum about abandoned cars that were lying in gardens, woods etc etc
One being a Renault 5 with a wide body kit on
Just wondering if anyone has that link to hand ? Had a wee search but couldn't find it

My dad does classic bikes, (I help him)
we found a 1927 ariel, with 1 owner from new, in a barn in Yorkshire!

Makes me wonder if theres anything kicking about my area lol I know theres an E reg Polo that's been in a runway since I started primary school which was about 95/96 lol

Look in general on RR. Some guy in Europe found a full collection in a wooded area. Some awesome stuff there. Proper dubs :p pretzel window Beetles, Barn door Splittys etc.
RR in itself isn't much cop these days, but you get some sweet spotted threads etc. Like someone saw a Rover SD1 traffic car being driven on the roads, fully marked up. Pics and everything. Awesome. :)

I did mate. They're still trading lol. Phone number still works and the cars disappear every now and then. I love the whole abandonned idea.

Yes, its not far from me. A couple of lads from work live out that way and they said its all still untouched.

Very very strange that, I read on that site that someone got in contact with the owner and he's went through some berievement(sp) loss of his wife etc and just hasn't got back to the garage
But that's some old cars in there, must have been un-used for years!

Its in Church Gresley or Castle Gresley, cant remember which. The lads that live near there said it was something to do with dodgy dealing or the company folding. Will try and find out some more when I get back to work.

i totally forgot. behind my work which is next to a garage. the owner is a bit of a horder and loves morris minors. and he has about 6 sitting there doing nothing. a really early jeep. which has been sold. and there is an open crete. which has mint doors sitting in it. not sure what for. but im now charging some batteries to hopefully get the pics of my camera lol
ill get some pics of up by my mr2 next time im up there...2 shells (austin and a morris) that have been there so long the panels look like swiss cheese

my sis had a late model 33, it was a very good car, until her soon to ex husband kicked the dashboard & glass out of whilst she was driving it thru leicester. it ground to a halt, the law towed it to a cop shop, i had a row with the sargeant about how a car with totally dead electrics will never ever bump start, then we weighed it in. the insurance wouldn't pay out cos hubby was still on the policy & it was deliberate.
looking at it again i dont think it is. they are awesome cars, id love another one

Looking at the shape of the wing, i would say thats a more door loon that soneone it metalworking up for stock rod racing, with another spare shell sat next to it, either that or its a mk4(?) escort!
