UPOL Etch Primer on bare metal mate :)

Bare metal has to be Etch Primer. Bonds to the metal much better, more protection.

What's the crack with Red Oxide then? Just not as good?

its **** :)

gray upol etch primer or white would be best but dont think upol do it in white (guessing its being used on a white car)

I used Zinc enriched primer round my nova arches, its like waterproof, when i poured water on it it just ran straight off.

pretty expensive stuff though.

Any kind of etch primer is what you want. And you don't need to paint it one like primer. A light dusting is fine.

Good stuff, it isnt cheap lol

Not really done much bodywork before, only touch up here and there, wanting to do the door bottoms and arches on mine so will be taking the angle grinder out at the first opportunity now i have a week off.

It only needsa light dust as its acid based, so its eats in and bonds.
