This time its digital TV aerials lol

We've not long had a digital aerial thingy installed here an Im now needing to connect my TV upto it. Is there any particular type of aerial type cable I have to buy with it being a digital aerial?

As im planning on hard wiring my TV straight into this new aerial thing on the side of the house.

Er, basically what do I need lol lol

First!

*Jumps in with no idea. lol

Surely they just require a regular RF cable. Check the connections.

Check to see what connections are on the aerial, then you will know what you cables you require. IMO it will be suppled with one.

Some fitters will just fit a normal coaxial plug on the end that'll go straight to the TV. Others fit an F-Connector so you'd need an F-Connector to TV adapter.

If you're fitting to the arial itself, you'll just need some decent coaxial cable, a tv connector for the tv and and an F-Connector for the arial end.

Theres already a TV connected to said aerial, so will there be like a spare F connection on the aerial itself or do they only have one??

F Connector is the screw together type affiar isnt it?

Yeah the F connector is the screw type one.

When we had ours done they ran one cable to each room that we wanted a TV in (student house so 4 of us).
