i have a mk1 sr 1.4 on 40s i am running a kent cam that is running the standard pump up to a filter king i have fuel i have spark plenty of compression but it just wont start an ideas could it be ignition timing

could be cam timing? if the dizzy is set in the mark on the cambox it should run, you sure youve got a good spark? have you took the carbs appart to make sure theyre clear of dirt? just a few things to check

it seems like it is turning over to slow i have a decent spark and the pots are getting fuel just no bang :wtf:
