Depends on what the car is going to be used for? If your going to be tracking it alot then a cage will help stiffen the shell up. Welded is obviously more rigid than a bolt in cage but even with bolt in you will have to weld some spreader plates on the feet to add some strength. If it was me i'd stitch weld the bay and maybe the rear and fit some decent suspension and see how you go. Then fit poly bushes and compare, then a strut brace and or cage and compare. That way you get a feel for the change each addition has made.

Not bad for nothing. Looks pretty straight. My first suggestion would be to get some rear wheels on it. Then give it a wash and vacuum. Good luck with your project. Do you have any plans yet?
looking real nice tbh if your gonna have it striped ide have it caged

Plan's arent relly anythink too exciting, standed xe for now, full stainless stright though custom exhaust will get some pics soon very nice sleeper style tucks up in the rear bumper so you cant see it, stich weld and plate bay, maybe go though and stich rear to stiffen it up a bit.
