ok so im stripping my nova and im having bit of trouble with removing the steering wheel ive taken out the centre nut and washer and gave it a good slap to seperate the splines but the cu**t still wont come off

am i missing something ?? any help please

steering wheel puller or put the nut back on a few turns and push the bottom of the wheel up with your knees while rocking the top with your hands.

Puller is the only way if its stuck on, you bash the steering column too hard you could damage it.

For the money, i'd get a puller. I got one off ebay for about £15 delivered, makes life much much easier...

the best thing NOT to do is take the nut off then hit the shaft repeatedly with a large heavy hammer:wall:
