Dash out

Hi,

Is it possible to get the dash out with an aftermarket momo steering wheel boss in the way. I would have thought so, as the hole looks big enough. But i just can't remove the boss, i have a puller but it's a vaux one which doesn't work on the aftermarket boss.

I suppose, it would be a right bugger if i undone all the things then it don't fit. But can't see why it wouldn't.

you could always remove the steering shaft with the wheel still on.

with a mk2 you dont have to remove the boss, dont know about mk1, but should be the same

It's just stuck on, tried pulling,all sorts, so gave up and if the dash comes off without it, it makes it redundent to take it off.

have you tried a little bit of shock theropy has always worked for me and i have never broke one

I did this getting my mk2 dash off. I rest the boss above the open jaws of a vice afterwards & tapped the centre down through the boss (just to get it off)
