Holy sheet :eek: Very lucky to be alive after seeing how that barrier just tore through the firewall. Must have been going some when they hit the barrier :confused:

NCAP ratings mean jack shizzle. Head on collision at relatively low speeds like 40mph etc side impact and pedestrian injuries when struck by a car. Those types of accidents at high speed are not done at the NCAP testing so it's just luck tbh.

For the barrier to go through the car is just one of them things; the right conditions for that type of accident, speed they were travelling, angle of the car hitting the barrier and barrier condition all contirbute.

Seen the R8 crash linky on MIG. Nasty. Shocking to think broken legs were the only injuries really.
