think the last time we had a snowfall like this was about 13years ago..

I dont think i've actually seen snow that deep where i live.... lol lol

ATM its minus 2 here with a few bits of snow on the pavement lol

holy **** man..thats some snow cle! ha ha

still snowing away here, pretty safe to say i wont be at work tomorrow. just been out helping neighbours who are stuck in ths street..so funny. old people trying to drive in snow lol

think its rather funny how the local villages/towns come to a stand still in this weather.

village 2 miles from here, there is basically 3 main roads coming out of different sides of it, anyway - at about 4.30 when i was on my way home from work 2 lorries got stuck at the north side of village and blocked the road..eventually got past it and found out that the south side had been blocked too by a lorry that couldnt get up the hill.

anyway, the police was there, re-directing the traffic round a backroad heading for my place. we were sitting in my mates land rover just laughing at everyone struggling, the next thing an artic lorry comes along this really snowy tight backroad and the police STUPIDLY wave it down to stop. that was it stuck and the 3 main roads out of the village blocked! how stupid of the police to stop the lorry on a slight hill/corner. dont think the driver was too impressed!

although, the local council isnt really doing a great job of clearing the roads.. hardly seen any all day, the roads are almost as bad as fields etc etc..

once abit of snow is on the ground they cant/wont send the gritters out incase they get stuck lol

thats what the have snow ploughs for on the front of them to clear the road in front of them so the road is clear and salt is straight down on the freash ploughed road

That's some snow you've had there mate, it's been snowing pretty well in London too.

I've never really had trouble getting through snow but you have to bare in mind that the Nova has snowplough....I'll get my coat! lol

Stopped here now but every single road is slippy and even my runway has frozen over and I can't get the Nova up :(

woke up at noon and weve had about 3-4 inches,looks like everywhere in Scotland has had snow
