I want to know how to remove them with the intention of refitting them. I normally push the pins through and pull the handles out, but you loose the pins in the pillars and inner roof skins, is there any way of me retaining the pins, the only I can think is to drill the roof skin and push them out on a scrapper

I pretty much lost 70% of the pins when I took mine out, managed to fish some out with my fingers to re-use. Get a hoover with a small nozzle and a new empty dust bag and suck them through. Then take them out of the dust bag lol

Or get a long pin/tack stuck on the end slightly and push the plastic pin through as you would then with the pin stuck on the end of it you can easily pull it out.

Two ideas that have just come to mind :)

Self tapping screw screwed in to them. Then you can pull them out and turn them around where you re fit.

^ that's the same as my method but I'd use the tack pins, the brass ones with the big round flat head like they use in schools. Less damage to the plastic.

Thats whats on the back of a mk2 hatch tailgate with a lock in the middle, I've heard them called the 'Oh Sh1t handle'

I've refered to the interior handles as 'grab handles'. everyone understood it.

grab handles are what people use to help them get in and out of a car......
Jesus handles are for when you are a passenger & the car is being driven vigorously

Fixed. ^ That should be the official name for them lol
