Help Needed Urgently

right Ive just gone out to my car and it wont start, Ive tried jump starting it and sprayed damp start over plugs etc but im still having no joy:mad:
its a 1.4 carb and it last ran not yesterday but the day before and the battery is less than a month old, this is the first problem ive had with the engine and i am assuming its the cold? ive told you as much as i can please help Ive got work tonight:thumb:

yeah tried jump leads mate and a quarter of a tank and i got the odd noise from it as if it wanted to start but hardly anything:thumb:

Do these engines suffer from carb freeze due to cold or adverse weather conditions??

Other thing to try is put an old/good plus in one of the leads and then lie it ontop of your eninge making sure the plug is earthed and get a friend or anyone to wind the car over to check for a spark:thumb:
